This is a very intensive preparation program. It is intensive because we have learned that a seriously intense program works much better than one which is only moderately intensive.
People who are repeating the exam should plan to know a lot more, write a lot more, get essentially unlimited private tutorial feedback, and be much more rehearsed, relaxed and prepared for the next bar exam.

About this Course
Emerson’s Bar Review course consists of 84 hours of comprehensive video lectures, 42 graded homework and practice exams with extensive and timely feedback, 5 graded Performance Tests, a 3-day graded simulated California Bar Exam, and unlimited private tutoring either electronically or in person depending on where you’re located.
Essentially unlimited private tutoring is available at no additional cost. We encourage you to use the private tutoring feature because we know, from years of experience, that combining private tutoring with lectures, homework, and practice exams increases the probability that you will pass.

In addition to the course videos, you will also have access to our extensive video library. It consists of video lecture analyses of 45 past California Bar Exam essay questions. Each lecture is 25-50 minutes in duration and explains the law and its application to the facts of the question. Our written materials include more than 200 past California Bar Exam essay questions with our full text answers.
Additional Video Lectures on Difficult Sub-topics
In addition to the regular lectures on all bar subjects, we have many specialty video lectures on subtopics such as a 55 minute lecture on the Rule Against Perpetuities, a 29 minute lecture on the Parol Evidence Rule, a 53 minute lecture on Conditions, a 42 minute lecture on Requirements and Output Contracts, lectures on Undue Influence (Wills), Equal Protection, DRR, etc.
